Flagstone typically comes in colors ranging from blues (ex: Pennsylvania Bluestone) to buffs and browns, with more exotic colors that are often imported from other parts of the world to the USA.
Flagstone is a flat and fairly smooth stone, and is available in two “shapes” – irregular and dimensional. Irregular flagstone is mosaic shaped, while dimensional flagstone is cut into squares or rectangles in 6” increments. These standard sizes range from 12″ x 12″ to 24″ x 36″.
